Only two days after she tweeted how "ridiculous" it would be for her to have a sex tape, the Canadian "Call Me Maybe" hit maker is reportedly trying to keep out of circulation some X-rated photos hacked from her computer.
According to TMZ, Jepsen's people contacted the Vancouver police in March after receiving an anonymous tip about the images, which the hacker had been trying to sell to the media. The investigation is currently under way, and the police are said to already have a suspect.
"Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me," the 26-year-old songstress tweeted. "Ridiculous. Obviously not me."
Three weeks ago, the 'Canadian Idol' alum was in damage control mode once again when Egotastic published cell phone images of a topless and pierced lady who looked a lot like her. After Jepsen's rep told TMZ it was "200 per cent NOT Carly," a 21-year-old nude model named Destiny Benedict came forward to admit it was actually her.
"Well I just want to say this Carly Rae is a beautiful girl and i'm honored to have been mistaken as her," she tweeted.Related Video: Carly Rae: 'A hit song is a bonus'
