Tina was on Oprah to discuss an upcoming Saturday Night Live reunion as well as her new book, Bossypants. The interview will air in the US on April 12.
For every happy announcement, there is a sad one. And the sad one to counter Tina's happy news was the sounding of the death knell for her darkly humorous TV show, '30 Rock.'

This week, Fey's '30 Rock' co-star and partner-in-crime, Alec Baldwin, said that the show would wrap at the end of 2012. This allows for one more season of the hit show, after the end of the current one.
"Next year is our last year on the show," Baldwin told New York Magazine while attending a Dance gala in New York City.
"Our contracts expired [in 2012], and Tina is gonna have a big career directing films and writing. She's going to be the next Elaine May. She'll be great," he added.

Baldwin's role on '30 Rock' has largely been credited with restoring the actor to his former good graces after the fallout of a messy divorce and comedy battle with actress Kim Bassinger.
Fey's highly regarded career includes seven Emmy Awards, three Golden Globes, four Screen Actors Guild Awards and four Writers Guild of America Awards.
Fey also wrote and starred in the film Mean Girls, as well as writing and performing for nine seasons on Saturday Night Live.
