• MESSIEST CELEBRITY WILL AND ESTATE BATTLES

Marlon Brando

Marlon Brando was one of the most talented, and mercurial actors of his generation. He also had a complicated, and at times tragic personal life, including children he had with a housekeeper - so when he died in 2004 at age 80 it was no surprise that things got messy. He recognised 11 children in his will but disinherited an adopted daughter and the son of his deceased daughter. A personal assistant who was bought a home by Brando and then subsequently kicked out before his death won a lawsuit she filed against his estate. His estate has also become extremely litigious filing numerous lawsuits against those using the Brando name without permission. Surprisingly none of his children challenged the will, and reportedly the estate continues to generate $9 million a year in income.
