Hugh Grant & Elizabeth Hurley

So basically in 1995, in the midst of a massive publicity spend and tour for his new film 'Nine Months', that charmingly rakish actor, Hugh Grant was caught soliciting the services of prostitute, Divine Brown, in his car. The LA police charged him with 'lewd conduct' in public, Grant paid the $1180 fine, went on the Today Show and gave a pitch perfect apology that saved his box-office career and relationship with fellow Brit, Liz Hurley. The two were together for another five years afterwards.
