Elton John and husband David Furnish welcomed their second son, Elijah Joseph Daniel, via surrogate on January 11. The pair used a surrogate centre in Encino, California, paying $30,000 to use a surrogate via the centre. This is their second son born via a gestational carrier. Their first son, Zachary Jackson Levon, was born via surrogate on December 25, 2010.
