Even pretty French actresses get pressured to alter their looks. Emmanuelle Beart co-starred with Tom Cruise in 'Mission Impossible' and sought to enhance her looks by plumping up her lips. The 49 year old got her trout pout done over a decade ago and deeply regrets the experience: "I had my mouth done at 27. It was botched," she confessed to 'Le Monde' this year. She's now staunchly against any kind of artificial enhancement. Today I would say, 'I am against plastic surgery,'" she says. "It’s a grave act. An act that touches our soul. It was frightening."
